Work

I am currently employed at PUMA where I am managing Interactive Marketing technology and providing guidance to our advertising agency development partners.  I started with PUMA in 2009.  I spend my days working with our development and operations partners to make interactive marketing projects run a little more smoothly.  I’m working on architecting a software development workflow that is mostly technology agnostic.  I am also building out a set of services to provide a single source of product, store, and user data to all of our marketing campaigns.

In 2006 Agentmaster merged with Bean Group and I moved into the Bean Group management staff where I served as CTO.  As CTO I oversaw ongoing web application development and IT for the company.  I oversaw application hosting, managed a network of over 200 sites built on a custom real estate CMS, managed as Asterisk open source phone system implementation, and managed IT for 9 offices.  During my time the company grew from 10 employees to 170.

In 2002 I partnered with Eric Nelson and Paul Morgan and we formed Agentmaster.  At Agentmaster I was the lead technologist and developed a next generation real estate marketing platform.  I built systems in Java to replicate data from a Microsoft SQL server real estate database to Postgres.  I also build a framework in PHP and Smarty that allowed us to quickly develop real estate websites.

From 1999-2002 I was the Principal Consultant at Hopper Consulting Services I development custom web applications using classic ASP, Microsoft SQL Server, and Microsoft Access.

In 1997 I worked as the junior network administration for the Town of Lunenburg.  I built an early version of the town website using PHP.  I also managed the town DNS servers, web servers, and routers.
